Two Papa Gino's locations in Framingham and one in Natick are among the latest closures announced by the struggling pizza chain.
Papa Gino's announced on Monday seven locations will close, in addition to nearly 100 closed in November when the company filed for bankruptcy. The company said in a statement it is working to transfer employees to other locations or help find new jobs.
Papa Gino's locations at 1133 Worcester Road (Route 9) and 341 Cochituate Road (Route 30) in Framingham are closing, along with 291 Worcester Road (Route 9) in Natick. Three other Massachusetts locations and one in New Hampshire will also close. Papa Gino's said Monday it doesn't anticipate any other closures.
Those latest locations to close join those shuttered in November, including three locations in Worcester on Chandler Street, Southwest Cutoff and Main Street, along with a location in Marlborough and two in Milford.
Papa Gino's is now part of a new company called New England Authentic Eats. Papa Gino's CEO Bill Van Epps said in Monday's statement the company is in position to invest in growth and hopes to continue serving the area for generations.
