(Updated at 4:55 p.m.) Framingham-based mobile security firm Rave Mobile Safety today reported several milestones for its fiscal 2015 year, signaling strong growth.
The private company, which doesn’t report financial information to the Securities and Exchange Commission, said 2015 marked the eighth consecutive year of double-digit growth, thanks to new customers across numerous product lines and markets. The company said it serves thousands of public and campus safety organizations in every U.S. state.
Revenue and profit information was not included in the results, but Rave Mobile Safety said it signed 250 new contracts with state and local agencies, including the cities of Denver, Honolulu, Seattle and Tulsa. New higher education clients include Baylor University and the University of Maryland.
The company also said it processed 10 percent of the nation’s 9-1-1 calls last year, through its Smart911 safety service.
Rave Mobile safety also expanded geographically in 2015, opening offices in Arkansas, Arizona, Washington, Kentucky and Maryland.
