Framingham IT Firm Finds Nearby Partner

Framingham-based Correlsense, which makes computer application management and monitoring software known as SharePath, said it has struck a deal to integrate its technology into the cloud platform of Red Hat, which has a large facility in Westford.

Application developers use Red Hat's OpenShift platform to deploy cloud-housed applications. Adding SharePath to the mix will allow both IT operations and development staff to use one tool to manage application performance after deployment, the companies said in an announcement this week.

"Collaborating with organizations like Correlsense allows us to expand the breadth of leading technologies available for use by developers using the OpenShift platform in the cloud," said Vijay Sarathy, director of cloud ecosystem at Red Hat.

Oren Elias, CEO of Correlsense, said using the two systems together will help application developers who struggle to get existing monitoring tools to cope with "the dynamic nature of (platform as a service)."
