An affiliate of Calare Properties of Framingham purchased a Northborough location of healthcare manufacturer Steris Corp. for $6.7 million. There is no indication that Steris is moving.
The sale of the 45,718-square-foot warehouse at 425 Whitney St. was completed on Friday, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The seller, Isomedix Operations Inc., purchased the property in 2019 for $6.9 million.
Steris, an Ohio-based international medical supplier, acquired Isomedix in 1997 for $142 million. The company produces medical supplies and devices with a concentration in sterilization.
Steris owns and operates out of a facility at 435 Whitney St., next to the property that was sold.
Calare Properties was founded in 2003 and owns office, research, and industrial properties primarily throughout the MetroWest region.
Requests for information to Steris and Calare about whether Steris would remain at 425 Whitney St. were not returned Monday afternoon.
The property is assessed by the Town of Northborough at $4.3 million.
