Framingham insurance firm acquired

A Needham insurance firm has acquired the significant assets of R.P. Ahearn Insurance Agency in Framingham, the buying company announced Monday.
Kaplansky Insurance of Needham said it acquired certain, unnamed assets of the Framingham firm for an undisclosed sum. This marks the 25th acquisition for Kaplansky, and the firm is on the lookout for more opportunities, said Ely Kaplansky, its president and CEO.
“This acquisition is an excellent opportunity to expand our reach, ensuring new opportunities and greater resources for our clients,” said Kaplansky. Kaplansky has 13 locations in Massachusetts.
