Framingham firm to sell integrated Waters equipment

Framingham life sciences analytics technology firm SCIEX has announced it will begin offering Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography instruments from Milford lab equipment maker Waters Corp., integrated with its own mass spectrometry systems.
The agreement will allow SCIEX’s customers access to fully configured and interoperable instruments from the two companies, according to a release from SCIEX. The agreement broadens the liquid chromatography offerings from SCIEX.
SCIEX and Waters developed instrument control drivers tested to ensure compatibility and compliance, according to the firm. These drivers allow SCIEX OS software to control Waters’ systems.
