Framingham’s SCIEX has announced a partnership to create standardized methods to measure the purity and cleanliness of cannabis and cannabis products.
The collaboration with CW Analytical of California, an industry leading marijuana testing laboratory, is aiming to create an accurate and reliable way to measure pesticides and cannabinoids, according to a release from SCIEX.
The industry does not currently have a standard method for this type of analysis. It will allow the industry to not only analyze samples at a greater volume, but also ensure adequate and timely testing of medical marijuana, according to the companies.
SCIEX will provide CW Analytical with equipment and expertise.
