Framingham construction firm Perini Management Services has secured two federal contracts worth $66.9 million to build and improve U.S. Army and Homeland Security buildings.
A $40.9-million task order contract will have the firm design and construct a prefabricated dormitory at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Glynco, Ga., according to a release from the company. This will be the firm’s third task order at the campus.
The other $26-million contract is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District for the renovations of the Cadet Field House. The work will take place at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. and includes renovations to the hockey and basketball arenas, installation of fire suppression systems, mechanical upgrades and anti-terrorism upgrades.
Both projects are anticipated for completion by December 2022.
