Netezza Corp. , the Framingham-based data storage company, announced today that it has named Peter Gyenes to its board of directors.
Gyenes has been in the software business for more than four decades and has served as CEO of Ascential Software, Informix Corp. and Racal Interlan. Ascential and the database division of Informix were both acquired by IBM.
Gyenes replaces Sunil Dhaliwal of Battery Ventures, who served on the board since 2005.
