A Framingham company, Sustainable Energy Advantage LLC, has been chosen by the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a New England wind energy education project.
The contract is valued at $99,746, according to a press release from the federal government. Bob Grace, president of Sustainable Energy, said that figure is negotiable. Until the contract is signed, Grace said he could not discuss the project.
Sustainable Energy Advantage helps its clients develop wholesale and retail renewable electricity businesses and develop public programs to incentivize renewable energy.
Some of the company's projects include running a workshop for New York companies and institutions that want to add wind power to their energy mix and managing a request for interest process for the New York State, which is looking for energy companies interested in providing wind power to companies and institutions.
The company was started in 1998 and has four employees.
