Framingham-based IT services and consulting firm GlassHouse Technologies said it would expand its service operations center in Cary, North Carolina.
The expansion will allow the facility to become the company’s primary service center for its managed services and customer support operations and “opens the door for additional jobs” by bringing work formerly done overseas to Cary.
GlassHouse launched its managed services unit in 2004. The program provides a variety of data storage, backup and security services.
The Cary facility is 14,000 square feet and employs about 40 people.
