GlassHouse Technologies, a Framingham-based IT consulting firm, has acquired Systems Group Integration of the United Kingdom.
The acquisition grows GlassHouse’s virtualization capabilities. SGI specializes in Microsoft and virtualization technologies. SGI is also a Dell “preferred partner” for virtualization.
GlassHouse said it has seen an increase in large-scale data center virtualization projects in the last few years. SGI’s experience and intellectual property will allow the company to take advantage of that growth.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
