Framingham-based VP Solutions Inc. has merged with ComputerSupport.com, a national provider of managed IT and cloud services for business based in New York City, according to a statement from the companies.
VP Solutions, which has a “strong presence” in the legal community, will leverage ComputerSupport.com’s wider breadth of product and service offerings to bring additional value to existing customers.
Both companies will benefit from more engineering expertise, round-the-clock support for customers, and new cloud products, among other improvements, the statement said.
“We feel strongly that joining forces … will allow us to realize our strategic goals within the industry,” VP Solutions President Vincent Peck said in a statement.
VP Solutions was founded in 1993, while ComputerSupport.com was founded in 2006. Kirill Bensonoff, co-founder of ComputerSupport.com, said there are “undeniable synergies” between the companies.
“Uniting VP Solutions’ team with ours and combining our strengths will allow us to serve our customers better,” Bensonoff said in a statement.
