Gaming company Disruptor Beam is set to tap into The Walking Dead phenomenon with a new online, multiplayer game that will be released next year.
The Framingham firms game, The Walking Dead: March to War, will be based on the comic book series of the same name. It will allow people to interact with each other in the gaming world, and will be available on the App Store and Google Play.
The company has already successfully brought both a Star Trek and Game of Thrones game to mobile platform, and plans to capitalize on that expertise with this latest game, according to a release.
Disruptor Beam was founded by Jon Radoff, and is backed by GrandBanks Capital, Google Ventures, Romulus Capital, and Converge Venture Partners.
