Framingham Co. Plans Expansion
DPS Biometics, a Framingham biotech and pharmaceutical engineering firm that was acquired by Irish company DPS Engineering last year, says it plans to expand its offerings and increase its local workforce.
David O'Connor, business development manager for the company, said the firm will add additional consultancy services so that it can offer clients architectural and mechanical support as well as process and validation services.
O'Connor said the company plans to add 20 to 100 jobs over the next 18 months. That will mean an eventual expansion of its space at 959 Concord St., he said, since the current space provides only enough room for 50 people.
