Framingham Co-op Helps Fund Housing Construction

The Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has given $2,500 toward the construction of the Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly’s new Shillman House project.

Shillman House is being built on Edmands Road in Framingham and will include 150 units of affordable housing for senior citizens and will also offer services and social programs.

The grant is part of a recently-completed round of foundation grants totaling $41,000.

The foundation offers grants of up to $10,000 to various community groups.

The bank has three branches, all in Framingham.
