Framingham technology platform for digital invitations and greeting cards Punchbowl has landed licensing agreements with Disney, Mattel and other toy companies for digitally-sent kids birthday invitations.
The new licensed invitations in the company’s “Characters Kids Love” collection were created with the popular brands.
The Disney online invitations feature characters from Coco, The Incredibles, Mickey Mouse, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Disney princess characters and others.
Licenses with toy company Mattel include online invitations for Barbie and Hot Wheels.
“These new licenses are a fantastic addition to the largest selection of branded invitations ever assembled,” said Matt Douglas, CEO of Punchbowl. “Our 2019 ‘Characters Kids Love’ collection has the most popular party themes and extends our unchallenged leadership position in the Kids Birthday market.”
Party hosts use the platform via a mobile app or at the company’s website. Invitations are then delivered via text or email.
