Foxwoods Resort Casino announced a 5-year agreement today to simulcast horse racing from the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
The deal with Las Vegas Dissemination Company allows horse racing fans in the United States to enter into pari-mutuel wagering on races featured at the Hong Kong Jockey Club for the first time.
Bets will be placed through the Las Vegas Dissemination Company, the only authorized hub to receive the Hong Kong Jockey Club signal in the United States. The first races will be simulcast in September.
“We are extremely excited to enter into this exclusive agreement with the world renowned Hong Kong Jockey Club,” said John O’Brien, Foxwoods president. “This will provide our guests with the chance to see and bet on races they would only be able to see in Hong Kong.”
