Foxwood Slots Revenue Falls

As the debate over Massachusetts casinos continues, Connecticut casino giant Foxwoods reports its June slot revenue was down 11.7 percent from last year.

Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods reported to the Connecticut State Division of Special Revenue that their slot revenue for the month was $51 million.

The casino owner, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, reported a $13.6 million payment to the State of Connecticut for the month.

The Connecticut location says it is North America’s largest resort casino.
