The Greater Worcester Community Foundation is accepting grant applications for its 2017 Fairlawn Fund, with a focus on projects that address mental health needs in the region, the organization said in a statement Wednesday.
The fund is interested in projects that: increase the supply of culturally-competent and credentialed mental health professionals and paraprofessionals; address gaps in service and diminish stigma; include realistic sustainability plans that address policy concerns; recognize the need for comprehensive services; include perspectives of people with personal experience, and show evidence of collaboration. Joint proposals are encouraged.
Applications are due June 16. Applicants must be tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations. More details are available here.
