A former Nissan automotive dealership on Route 9 in Westborough has sold for $3.3 million to the owner of a Nissan dealership in Brockton.
The site at 273 Turnpike Road was a Glick Nissan and later a Nissan dealership for the Herb Chambers chain. The building has been vacant for more than three years, going out of business soon after the Westboro Toyota dealership next door was expanded.
The buyer of the site is a limited liability corporation registered to Edward Kardon of Plymouth, the owner of Route 24 Nissan in Brockton, and Jonathan Stern of Armonk, N.Y. The seller was an entity registered to Nico Gutierrez, Kevin Westfall and Jovan Sijan, all of Garden City, N.Y.
The sale closed March 16.
Herb Chambers sold the 2.6-acre site in 2019 for $3.2 million. It was last assessed by the Town of Westborough at $1.8 million.
