Former Sutton campground sold for residential development

The former Old Holbrook Place Campground in Sutton sold on Thursday for $1.5 million, to be used for future residential development.

The seller, represented by Michael Jacobs, principal at Worcester real estate brokerage NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, was Christine Meuse, representative for the Estate of Linda Nelson, who passed away in 2021.

The buyers were Tammy and Timothy Mahoney of Sutton, according to a Monday press release from NAI Glickman.

The property has been divided into five lots for residential development. Two lots have been deeded to Mason Construction, Inc. of Grafton.

The almost 13-acre site is assessed by the Town of Sutton for just less than $500,000.
