Former State Street CEO To Lecture At Holy Cross

The retired chairman and CEO of State Street Corp. is coming to the College of the Holy Cross to offer a critical look at the future of the banking industry.
A Holy Cross alumnus, David A. Spina, is coming back to the college to provide an insider's perspective on the recent collapse of the financial markets during a lecture scheduled for Nov. 3 at the college. His lecture, "Recasting Banks in 2009: An Insider's Perspective," is part of the school's yearlong economic series focused on capitalism after the recession.
The series is sponsored by the school's Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture and is free and open to the public.
