William J. Conley Jr., a former officer in the U.S. Marines, has been named director of administrative services at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
In his new position, Conley will be the senior human resources professional, responsible for policies and procedures for hiring, affirmative action, risk management, emergency preparedness and other college operations.
Conley earned a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. He served in the Marines for 21 years, most recently as lieutenant colonel and commanding officer.
