Lexington’s Oasis Systems Inc., an IT provider to the U.S. Department of Defense, has been acquired by the GF Fund, a private investment firm based in New York.
Tom Colatosti, a former Digital Equipment Corp. executive and president and CEO of American Security Ventures, led the acquisition effort on GF’s behalf and was named president and CEO of Oasis.
Oasis’ founder, Tom Chelliah, will remain with the company as a consultant.
The company has about 500 employees in the United States.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
