The Nutmeg State falls near the bottom of the list on a ranking of foreclosure activity in all 50 states released by Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Bargain Network. Connecticut saw a 12 percent drop in foreclosure activity between April and May, and ranked 42 among the states. Roughly one out of every 9,400 Connecticut households was in some phase of foreclosure. Nationwide, however, foreclosure activity climbed 6 percent between April and May to approximately 149,000 listings.
