The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce named Good Chemistry Nurseries in Worcester as its 2021 Retailer of the Year, the cannabis company announced on Wednesday.
The award, given on May 20, marks the first time a medical and adult-use dispensary has received the award, according to Good Chemistry.
“We are honored to be a part of the Worcester community and are grateful to the chamber for recognizing us as a dedicated community partner,” said Matthew Huron, Good Chemistry’s founder and CEO, in a statement. “Good Chemistry Nurseries began as a company that is rooted in making life better for the people we serve, and that includes the members of our community.”
During the award ceremony, the chamber’s board of directors chair, Robert Cox, highlighted Good Chemistry’s role in pioneering the cannabis industry, as well as its commitment to educating customers and patients about the cannabis products they are purchasing.
Duncan Smith, Good Chemistry’s director of retail operations, received the award on the company’s behalf.
