A MetroWest-area doctor has opened a new primary care practice in Framingham in conjunction with a Florida primary care firm MDVIP.
Harveen Singh, a doctor affiliated with Framingham’s MetroWest Medical Center and the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, will lead the new Framingham practice. According to MDVIP, Singh is one of more than 15 MDVIP-affiliated physicians in Massachusetts.
MDVIP focuses health prevention rather than just treating illness.
Singh’s practice, located at 463 Worcester Road, is a short drive away from another MDVIP-affiliated physician, Stephen Hoffman, who runs a practice on Lincoln Street.
Hoffman, however, isn’t currently accepting new patients, according to the company’s website. The company also has an affiliated physician in Natick, but every other location is east of the MetroWest area.
In a statement, Singh said she’s proud to be a part of the company’s growing community in Framingham.
"Joining the MDVIP network affords me the valuable time necessary to know my patients well beyond their immediate medical needs and serve as a 'life coach' to help them achieve optimal health, longevity and quality of life through wellness and lifestyle changes,” she said.
