Flexcon hires first chief commercial officer, eyes global expansion

Spencer-based adhesive manufacturer Flexcon has hired its first chief commercial officer to enhance its organizational priorities in order to expand into markets and territories.

Flexcon hired Andrew Huddlestone, former president of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa  division at Arlon Graphics, a California-based sister company of Flexcon under Flexcon Holding Trust, to fill the new position, according to a Monday press release from Flexcon.

“This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our sales strategy,” Aimee Peacock, CEO of Flexcon, said in the press release. “We are confident that Andrew’s extensive experience and capabilities will strengthen our commercial foundation and elevate our customer-facing teams and initiatives to new levels, driving sustainable global growth for Flexcon.”

Huddlestone brings more than 25 years of experience in global strategy development and execution, mergers and acquisitions, manufacturing, industrial management, and executive leadership. Prior to joining Arlon Graphics, he held commercial leadership positions at England-based industrial minerals company Viaton Industries and Connecticut-based global reflective sheeting manufacturer Reflexite Corp.

“With strong leadership and clear strategy execution, we will align the global commercial business for continued growth,” Huddlestone said in the press release. “I look forward to collaborating with the Flexcon team to support our customers to drive mutual growth and success.”
