Spencer-based FLEXCon has expanded its operations in Hong Kong to include product manufacturing, finishing and warehousing work, the company announced Monday.
The adhesive coating and laminating manufacturer said the new facility, which opened Thursday, will allow it to get automotive, industrial and pharmaceutical products more quickly to customers throughout China and Southeast Asia.
“Hong Kong is an ideal platform for fast-growing companies like FLEXCon that want to do business in Asia-Pacific markets, including mainland China,” said Neil McDonough, president and CEO, in a statement. “Our Hong Kong facility will enable us to respond to market trends with custom products and provide rapid, focused and technical support for our valued Asia-Pacific customers.”
FLEXCon has housed its Asian sales, technical service and customer service operations in Hong Kong since December 2012. The company has manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout North America and Europe.
