One of Central Massachusetts’ largest law firms has named its new president, as Fletcher Tilton in Worcester has appointed Todd Brodeur to the leadership role.
Brodeur most recently acted as the firm’s vice president, serving on Fletcher Tilton’s five-person rotating membership committee.
With more than 20 years of law experience, Brodeur’s practice specializes in commercial real estate and corporate assets including their dispositions, acquisitions, acquisitions, developments, and financings, according to a Thursday press release from Fletcher Tilton.
"I am honored to take on this responsibility and look forward to working with our exceptional team to continue Fletcher Tilton's long tradition of legal excellence and client service," Brodeur said. "As we move forward, we will remain focused on strengthening our core practice areas while adapting to meet the evolving needs of our clients."
Brodeur succeeds Mark Donahue, who continues in his roles as attorney, shareholder, and director of the firm’s transactional group, Fletcher Tilton confirmed with WBJ.
Throughout his legal career, Brodeur has represented clients including institutions, developers, retailers, and individual investors working on projects such as those pertaining to new bank developments, rental housing, and battery energy storage.
He holds degrees from Trinity College in Connecticut and Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
Outside the law office, Brodeur works as the director of The Major David Brodeur Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit providing scholarships and grants to Auburn public school students in honor of David Brodeur, who passed away in Afghanistan in 2011, according to the organization’s website.
Todd Brodeur served on the board of trustees of the EcoTarium in Worcester for 15 years and has been a Shrewsbury board of assessor’s member for 13 years.
With 32 local attorneys, Fletcher Tilton is the third largest law firm in Central Massachusetts when ranked by local attorneys as of the second quarter of 2024, according to data provided to WBJ’s Research Department. The firm was founded in 1822.
