The owner of Hansen Overhead Garage Door, an early-stage company out of Fitchburg, has received a boost in funding with a $25,000 loan from the North Central Massachusetts Development Corp.
Paul Hansen will dedicate his new loan to purchasing equipment and investing in working capital for operations, according to a Monday press release from the NCMDC.
Hansen Overhead provides garage door sales, installation, and services to residential and commercial customers using its owners more than 40 years of garage door industry experience.
NCMDC is the economic development branch of the Fitchburg-based North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce.
Roy Nascimento, the chamber’s president and CEO, was named one of WBJ’s Power 50 in 2023.
NCMDC is known for its distribution of loans to small businesses and startups throughout the region.
In February, the organization loaned $32,000 to Best Family Fitness in Clinton.
In 2024, NCMDC generated $1.18 million in revenue and held $6.78 million in assets, according to nonprofit financial tracker GuideStar.
