Fitchburg digital marketer announces acquisition

Fitchburg-based digital marketing company 190 Group has agreed to purchase an ecommerce Web design and development firm, adding 1,300 customers to its client base, the company announced.
The acquired firm, BCmods, will operate as a division of 190 and complement its digital marketing services.
Ashley R. Carrier, the founder and CEO of 190, said his firm has helped several customers with their digital marketing efforts, but many prefer to work with one company for their design, development and digital marketing needs. “Now 190 Group can offer all these services,” he said.
Quintin Henry, BCmods’ founder and chief architect, will remain as an adviser, 190 said in its announcement.
