Fitchburg Co. Is Top Hispanic Owned Biz
Resource Management Inc. of Fitchburg was recently named the 46th largest Hispanic-owned business in the country by Hispanic Business Inc.
The company, a "professional employer organization," moved up from 60th place last year. PEOs essentially employ other companies' workers, providing payroll, HR and employee benefits services.
The magazine lists the company as having 3,885 employees, and CEO Reinaldo Lopez Sr. said that number has grown rapidly and is now 5,500. Lopez said the company's revenue in 2007 was $151 million.
Only two other Massachusetts companies made the Top 500 list. Atlantic Graphic Services Inc. of Clinton came in at 483, and Quintana Associates Inc. of Ward Hill took 500th place.
