ARC Community Services on Main Street in Fitchburg has selected Leominster-based McKenzie Engineering Co. to design an extensive renovation project.
ARC has raised $3.3 million for the project and is seeking a final $1 million through grants and donations.
McKenzie will conduct a comprehensive facility assessment focusing on structural issues, code compliance, space layout and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems design.
ACR Community Services is owned by Alliance For Resource Management, also in Fitchburg.
