According to the U.S. Department of Labor , 356,000 Americans filed for unemployment insurance benefits during the week ended Feb. 2.
That’s a decrease of 22,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 378,000. The 4-week moving average was 335,000, an increase of 8,500 from the previous week.
