First time jobless claims unchanged
According to the U.S. Department of Labor , 353,000 Americans filed claims for unemployment benefits for the first time during the week ended March 8.
That represents no change from the previous week. The 4-week moving average was 358,500, a decrease of 1,250 from the previous week's revised average.
