First-Time Jobless Claims Down 53K

In the week ending April 11, 610,000 Americans filed claims for unemployment coverage for the first time, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
That's a decrease of 53,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 663,000. The 4-week moving average was 651,000, a decrease of 8,500 from the previous week.
