First-Time Jobless Claims Down 21K

In the week ending Nov. 29, 509,000 Americans filed claims for unemployment insurance benefits for the first time, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

That's a decrease of 21,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 530,000. The 4-week moving average was 524,500, an increase of 6,250 from the previous week.
