Firm Packages Energy Tips For Restaurants

A Lexington firm says it can help restaurants cut their energy usage by up to 10 percent.
The Kilojolts Consulting Group said its Restaurant Manager's Energy Tool Kit guides restaurants through eliminating inefficiencies through education, training and positive reinforcement. The kit also includes a software package that allows restaurants to track energy usage.
Kilojolts is an energy management consulting firm. It said the tool kit costs $850.
The program targets lighting, refrigeration, HVAC and water usage.
