TechSandBox, a science and technology incubator in Hopkinton, has named the 14 finalists for its fourth annual Pitch Fest, which is open to science and technology startups who can win thousands in funding.
This year the pitch contest, to be held on Dec. 8, will award prizes in the four categories of clean tech, judges’ choice, audience choice and student. Winners of the judges and audience choice categories will each get a $1,000 prize, and clean tech and student category winners will get $1,500 each.
The finalists are:
- Advanced Silicon GroupÂ
- Battery ResourcersÂ
- CareThread
- Casterbridge Pharma
- Dynamo MicropowerÂ
- Floelle
- GoPapaya
- HStar
- iHope Network
- NextShift Robotics
- Optumi Inc.
- Van Cor LLC
The student entrants are:

The live pitch fest functions much like shows such as “Shark Tank” and allows the companies to make a live argument for why they deserve funding in two-minute pitches with one slide.
