Japanese company Hosokawa Micron International sold its 5-7 Michigan Drive facility in Natick for $1.2 million to Natick businessman Warren Cross Jr., according to R.W. Holmes Realty, which represented both parties.
Hosokawa, which has locations around the world, had housed a blown film extrusion division called Hosokawa Alpine American in the 27,000-square-foot building. Blown film extrusion is a method used to make plastic films.
Cross heads Cross Services Group, a residential and automobile cleaning company, and also owns Cross Courts Squash and Fitness Center in Natick. He purchased the Hosokawa building under Michigan Drive Realty LLC.
