Fidelity Bank eagerly touts its LifeDesign program, which emphasizes the bank's personal relationships to clients and community contributions.
Now, the Leominster-headquartered bank has promoted a well-known name in Central Massachusetts business to a newly created role of chief LifeDesign officer. Sherri Pitcher, who has worked at Fidelity Bank since 2017 and was the vice president of business development, is now in the new role also carrying a senior vice president title.
Pitcher has created area connections through her involvement in the United Way's Women's Initiative and through serving on boards of Family Services of Central Massachusetts, the EcoTarium, the Worcester Community Action Council, the Hanover Theatre, and the Worcester Art Museum.
Fidelity Bank hired Pitcher from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she was the senior director of business development, when the bank planned a second Worcester location, at a highly visible spot at Front and Foster streets, on the ground floor of the 145 Front at City Square building.
The LifeDesign program includes a community dividend component Fidelity Bank says paid out more than $400,000 last year to support more than 250 organizations, causes and events.
