Fidelity Bank in Leominster announced on Friday it has named Joseph Silva as senior vice president, chief commercial banking officer, effective immediately.Â

Silva is taking over the role from Barry Bliss, who is retiring in August.
Silva is joining Fidelity from Pawtucket Credit Union, where he worked as head of commercial lending for the last nine years, per Fidelity. Before that, he worked at Bank Rhode Island.
Silva holds a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications from the University of Rhode Island, and also graduated from the bank leadership program at the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
