Fidelity Bank of Leominster will dedicate $45,000 over three years to the Massachusetts nonprofit Entrepreneurship for All, known as EforAll, which launched a Worcester branch on Oct. 1, the bank announced on Friday.
EforAll operates in nine locations across Massachusetts, as well as one in Colorado. The nonprofit, which says it has helped launch more than 500 businesses in the last decade, puts an emphasis on working with women, people of color, immigrants and previously unemployed individuals.
“With their help, we will be able to reach and mentor a larger group of entrepreneurs who want to start a business,” said John Esler, founding committee chair for EforAll’s Worcester program.
The nonprofit is accepting applications for its Greater Worcester Business Accelerator program until Thursday. Those who are selected will receive business training, mentorship and access to a professional network, according to a press release from Fidelity, which will participate in the mentorship program.
Editor's Note: WBJ Publisher Peter Stanton is a member of the EforAll Greater Worcester founding committee.
