BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Hartford hired Brant Walker and Eileen Foley Allgrove as vice presidents and portfolio managers. Walker is vice president and senior director. He was formerly senior vice president at U.S. Trust. Allgrove is vice president and director. She was a senior client relationship officer at U.S. Trust before joining the company.
The University of Connecticut Foundation Inc. named the following to the board of directors: Mark L. Boxer, executive vice president and president/CEO of operations, technology and government services business unit, WellPoint; Douglas G. Elliot, president and CEO, HSB Group; Michael E. Herbert, executive vice president of HIP health plans and president/CEO, ConnectiCare; Marsha P. Roth, managing director, Angelo, Gordon & Co.; and Mark R. Shenkman, president and CIO, Shenkman Capital Management.
Charles W. Shivery was elected chairman of the board for the Connecticut Business & Industry Association. Samuel S. Bergami Jr. was elected vice chairman of the organization.
Troy Bataille, Elizabeth Butler, Coleman Duncan, Michael MacDonald and Jaimee Zuboff joined Halloran & Sage in Hartford as associates. Bataille is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law. Butler and MacDonald are graduates of the UConn School of Law. Duncan was previously clerk for James D. Todd, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court, Tennessee. Zuboff is a recent graduate of Suffolk University Law School.
