FDA Approves BSX Stent
Boston Scientific Corp. of Natick announced that it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a carotid artery stent.
The company said the stent, which is used in patients with carotid artery disease who are at high risk for surgery, is already the leading carotid stent in Europe and other international markets. It said it will launch the product immediately in the U.S.
