Family Health Center of Worcester has named Dr. Robert Zavoski as its chief clinical officer, the community health center said Tuesday.
Zavoski took over the newly created role Feb. 1. He’ll be responsible for overseeing the center’s clinical programs.
Previously, Zavoski served as the chief medical officer of First Choice Health Centers in Connecticut, as well as the medical director of the Connecticut Department of Social Services, helping to lead the state’s Medicaid program.
He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, New York Medical College, and the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh.
