The family-owned ScrubaDub car wash company with 18 sites throughout New England is celebrating 50 years and over 40 million cars washed.
“I knew when I opened ScrubaDub I wanted to pass a legacy of opportunity on to future generations of my family rather than a bank account. It's an incredible success to know that my grandchildren will carry on our family business," Marshall Paisner, the founder of the company, said in a statement.
Marshall, passed the business on to his two sons, Danny and Bob in 1994. Today his son, Danny, is the president of ScrubaDub; his son, Bob, is the CEO; and his grandson, Mathew, is director of business development.
Since opening, ScrubaDub has cleaned more than 40 million vehicles and are poised to wash 2 million more this year - its biggest year. The company has multiple locations in Central Massachusetts, including Worcester and Shrewsbury.
