Fallon Community Health Plan changed its name to Fallon Health on Saturday, the Worcester-based health care services organization announced.
The rebranding comes in response to how the organization has evolved in the “rapidly changing health care industry,” a statement from the organization read.
“The old lines in health care are blurring as society seeks better, more affordable care through new approaches such as population health management and risk-sharing,” said Fallon’s president and CEO, Patrick Hughes. “Our new brand catches up to our unique role as both a health plan and a provider, and reflects our history and culture of innovation that allows us to take care of our communities at the lowest possible cost.”
Fallon also launched an advertising campaign under the new brand on Sunday. The campaign, created by DeVito/Verdi of New York, will cover TV, print, radio, digital and outdoor media, and will focus on Fallon Health’s insurance and senior care services.
